This hub is product help for OneSearch — how you sign in, run a lookup, confirm the person when names collide, and read the sourced brief. It also holds the short FCRA policy: permitted uses, hard stops, and a pointer to the long method. If you want the research method itself — operators, collisions, source verification, first-call briefs — start at the people-research guides. Those pages are written so you can run them without the product. This page is written so you can use the product without treating a brief like a dossier or a consumer report.

Help and the guides hub share a confirm-first rule and a stop line. They are not the same cluster. Help is the account and the brief: Google sign-in, an active plan, a name, a pick when two people fit the string, and a page with citations. The product job without an audience frame is people search. Read getting started here if you have never run a lookup. Read the guides if you already know the product and need the workflow you would run by hand.

When the question is legal classification, pick the short page or the long one on purpose. FCRA and legal use on this hub is the policy — what OneSearch is, what it is not, and the hard stops. People search is not a background check is the method: the decision tree and worked identities. Read the policy when you need a yes/no before you run a search.
